Even if the tax rate or maximum earnings limit changes during your tax year, continue to use the same rate and limit throughout your tax year. That’s a high bar for some people who may have significant health expenses, but not enough to meet the 7.5% adjusted gross income threshold. Be it liability insurance, employee health insurance or worker’s compensation insurance, you can deduct the premiums you pay for your coverage.
